Young Women’s Summer Institute

(6th-7th grade girls)
The weeklong, residential YWSI program helps middle-school girls develop a deeper interest in computer, math and science by solving a practical, interesting scientific problem.  They also meet and talk with prominent women about their roles in math, engineering and science fields.

Summer Institute

(High school freshmen and sophomores)
A two-week, residential program, SI helps gifted underclass high school students learn to use supercomputers to solve practical, yet complex, science and engineering problems, such as tracking hackers with network forensics, studying the spread of bird flue or designing computer games.

Project Lead The Way

(High school juniors and seniors)
When combined with college preparatory mathematics and science courses in high school, the Ohio PLTW program will introduce students to the scope, rigor and discipline of engineering and engineering technology prior to entering college.
